Son of a #####, there are more nice 7X57 's around on this thread than I ever imagined. No wonder they never come up for sale in the EE, they all in people's gun safes or being used to kill sheep....nice one Noel.

I think it is time for me to get another one of those :)

Thanks.
I got mine from here 5 years ago!:D Better be quick if you see one in the EE. Unless grossly overpriced the 7's go in mere minutes it seems.

Brno transition

Noel: Mike's in Edmonchuk at staff meetings so he may not see this for a while. I hadn't seen those variations either until he got this one. If I recall correctly that side button that looks like a safety is actually to de-#### the set trigger should you elect not to shoot. Also the later round knob bolt handle appears to be original as well. That little full stock is a shooter and I don't think he spent a lot of time working up loads to find out..

Hey Dennis!
Guess the boy has to make money to fund his addiction!:D I have since lost the link regarding the transition rifles but they had a couple different variations. Some had a round bolt handle like Mike's but the more common ZG47 style pivot safety. Looks like Mike's is the 21H style which I found easier to operate.
As to shooting mine was not bad with most loads but with the 154's boy does it smarten up in a hurry!

Yes it is a decocker, releases by pulling the main trigger, there are a few pics on the CZ forum with the same bolt and decock feature. I am almost ashamed to say I have only fired 5 rnds out of that rifle, the 3 in the target to check site in, and 2 for the deer. Ammo was cheap Federal Hi-shok that I bought to get some brass.

Also for submission, my Brno ZKK-602 in 375 H&H. Its posted elsewhere on gunnutz, but I can't resist posting it when I get a chance, I think its elegant, so here goes:

Thank you.

Holds 6 down too!

The other ones are:

Brno ZKK 602 in 416 Rigby (acquired in trade with a fellow gunnut)
Brno ZKK 602 1986 Vintage 375 H&H with factory peep sight.

I purchased the twin to my Bison Brno, thought I would throw it up on here for Brno Fans:

I named it "The Rhino" (and the other one "The Bison")
