Eley Team Ammo

I have recently tried some Eley match grade ammo for the first time in my DAR-22. What a difference! I am used to making one large hole with several flyers at 50 yards, this seems to have reduced the flyers considerably. Now I just have to work on my technique. My LGS has this in stock ($12.95/50) and it feeds well in the semi-auto:

No. Last time I got it it was $5 a box for practice and $10 for team

Thank you, I just paid 11.99 per 50 and was told it's the same as team, fairly new to buying premium 22 ammo so I said yes on the phone lol

I found it on reliables website, 7.99/50 but wasn't sure how old that pricing was.....I had my eley team order substituted for eley practice, 1 to 1...so I paid 119.95 before tax/shipping for 10 x 50 round boxes of eley practice....

and it doesn't shoot any better than a few cheaper brands my gun likes lol

The practice isn't the same as team. The lead is a little different color on the stuff I had and the bullet tip is also different. Team has the nipple and practice is jus a round nose. Team shot a lot better then practice as well.

Like already said, Hirsch precision has most Lapua made .22lr in stock. (SK is made by Lapua). The SK is good but if you want to do a bit better, try the Lapua center X. I get very good results with them in most if not all my precision .222lr rifles.

I bet Peter at Target Shooting Sports has at least twice the inventory that Hirsh precision has!

X2 on that Dave, 2 cases of Centre X going on mine tomorrow and a couple of cases of SK Standard+ from 2 weeks ago.

try some SK rifle match in your new rig..............honest..........

and then when you really get serious ask me for my ogive comparator and sort your ammo............seriously............oh and sort by rim thickness............majorly............

yea if you want the best groups you need to be anal retentive about rim thickness and overall weight as well. even the case thickness can impact the group size.
