Went 396 3/8" after drying.

Last one I shot for myself - he was awesome eating!

Kudos to all who really did not have any mentors related to hunting and became hunters and harvesters of the animals we fortunately have !
My family name arrived on the shores of Montreal in the year 1721 A.D. Our huntng petigree dates pack that far in Canada. We never "harvested" one animal, we KILLED them. We still use that word today and not influenced by political correctness euphemism.

well.... my family has been on this soil since the 1600's and the other half.... immeasurable...... we don't get our knickers in a knot trying to find political euphemisms in typical words used by hunters, farmers, fallers and fishermen LOL
but you do you there track ;)

Fondly remember standing over a dead black bear in my green crappy tire rubber boots wondering what now. With my dull knife, a hacksaw, and the Ontario hunting regs to guide me in gutting, while in the dark with a crappy flashlight. What a disaster.
