Email Inquiries with SFRC

Ryan, thanks for the replies. When staffing is an issue it causes problems all the way down the line. Thanks for addressing my concerns this evening.

call them and talk like a normal human being you can't always rely on e-mail or pm's ! stop crying their good people.

Some of us have work and family lives that make it easier to rely on email for a large portion of our communications. It also gives us a written record of conversations instead of having to remember what was said and who said it. Email is my preferred way of communicating in many cases, and especially when it comes to business transactions.

Just dealt with Sfrc for the first time. I placed an order.. The called me to confirm everything... Answered all my questions. Grade A+ for service.

Everyone is able to email still, I'm just saying that if you don't hear from us for some reason, give us a call. As always we are open to corrective criticism and i'll make sure people spend more time on emails.

I special ordered a rifle in Feb and have yet to hear from anyone that my order will be fulfilled as requested despite numerous emails. I'm worried that the woman who assures me that it's on the way doesn't even know what I ordered in the first place. I have a feeling I may have wasted over a month by dealing with these guys. Seems like the kind of busy mom n pop operation which I would love to support. Lots of happy customers...but they really need to work on comms. I would love to hear from anyone at SFRC who can assure me that my order (7177) has in fact been placed with the manufacturer and that I am not waiting in vain.

It is ordered. Remember the NEA guns are a presale. As the NEA guns come in we fill the orders. I have more coming at the end of this week but that gun is probably a ways down the line. I do know your email was replied to as I replied asking a few specific qns as I was concerned about the configuration you wanted. Please give us a call at 613-372-2662 and ask for Ryan

Wow man,you must be pretty busy if you don't have time to make a phone call. And as for the records of what was said ,buy a pen.

"We will have to see what all we get once it's instore to determine who's
where on the list. Marcie"

That is all I have received from you.

I ordered a specific configuration and am not interested in "what's instore"
or where I am on "the list". I realize that it's a special order and will have to wait accordingly. I simply wanted to know that my rifle has been ordered as requested and is on the way. A rough timeline would also be appreciated. Thanks

I also would prefer to communicate through email.
I don't mind waiting a day or 2 if you're busy but it's been a month.

I pre-ordered my NEA 10.5 in Sept 2011. It wasn't available to be delivered until March. That's a 7 month wait, I cancelled because I bought something else while I waited, it was nothing against NEA or SFRC. 7 Month wait for a stock item, yours being custom It might take longer, but then again NEA has bumped up their production significantly since then so you might get it sooner, but who knows.

I know I sent another one but that doesn't matter, it never made it. Give me a call today, 613-372-2662 and I'll go over the concerns that I have with your special order. I just want to make sure you are aware of the issues that it will create. I'm expecting 4+ weeks for that firearm.

A pen is NOT for the records, at best is what you thought your heard, NOTHING MORE.
It's like those silly CSRs on the phone telling you their screen shows this and that. Guess what, if their screen shows I owe them a BILLION dollars good luck collecting.

Unilaterally recorded info is useless, only good for HE SAID, SHE SAID arguments ;)

Just concluded my first transaction with these guys, and I'm pretty happy. It did take a while for my order to get to me, so I told myself that these guys have a pretty sterling reputation for a reason, and if it takes forevvvver to get my stuff, there's probably a pretty good reason for it, and I don't need to be all insecure about it and harass them with daily phone calls/emails/smoke signals.

It all works out in the end... ...not unlike a really satisfying dump.

Everybody's just gotta learn to have patience. Geez. It amazes me how many people are afraid to pick up a phone. Give Ryan a break. For everything he does and accomplishes, he does a great job. I've had nothing but great service from SFRC.

Never had a question or concern that wasn't taken care of right away by Marcie. If she can give you specific details she will, if she doesn't have them she won't guess. Ryan and Marcie are 100% dedicated to thier customers.

I think you might need to be a little more patient about your order, I had put in two gun orders with two other seperate dealers of which I waited 7 months for one and almost two years for the other. Special orders take time, just be a little more patient ;)
