EMP Shield For Your Car, House and Generator

EMP and a power surge are 2 different things.
For EMP your house/street wiring acts as a big antenna and captures the pulse converting it to electrical energy, which can fry electronics if the pulse is large enough, what needs to happen is to ´short’ the captured pulse. However if your electronics are not in a faraday cage they may fry anyway.

Yes, they are different but this device covers both from what I read. Obviously a nuclear EMP pulse will cook devices that are unable to shunt the excess energy. This device will work on electronics that are hooked up to it. Check out the testing they did.

This is 100% snake oil, do note the guy in the video that was linked is sponsored by them. You can't protect against EMP by wiring a box into your house, all other wires are exposed, if some sort of EMP event did happen, the wires connected to that box would lose power, and as a result the box that's allegedly meant to protect you from EMP is gonna lose power, you would need to isolate your house in a faraday cage, assuming you have a generator, if not even having your house covered by a faraday cage won't stop the rest of the grid, which is connected to your house, from going down. One of their use cases is a "Nuclear EMP Attack" (who remembers this level from Call of Duty?), which is a thing that has never happened. This is absolutely just a scam to get money from gullible prepper types.

I didn't listen to the entire youtube vid, but it doesn't sound like there is a battery backup to power the device which seems like a bit of a miss... if the power goes down before an emp event, or if there are more then one pulse the system would not function.

If it's a real bad event, old school tech, books and practical skills are what will be valuable.

I've seen something similar to this but it was a "passive" model, on the reader it magnified the waves emitted by a microwave oven, lol

lol its a surge protector for your house panel. These are $200 at Rona.
Square D (Schneider) is a good brand and makes them.

But classic panic marketing by the company. THE END IS COMING. THIS WILL SAVE YOU!
And all they did was slap a new sticker on an existing device.

It's not a bad idea to have one for lighting strikes and stuff but just get a regular priced one from home depot, not a fear priced one.

Coronal Mass Ejections have happened and will happen again, I'm not aware of any significant EMT attacks ever happening in the past, but given how dysfunctional the world is today it's not out of the question. The only thing to guard against it is the ability to retaliate in kind... looks like were heading back towards a mutually assured destruction scenario to keep peace.

The ongoing nato enabled conflict/war in Ukraine has people concerned about nukes again, and even smaller localized attacks on the grid are a real threat.

One thing for sure is, that given how we handled covid fear and it's devastating 99.97% survival rate....... a month with no power would not be pretty.

tHe DeFenSIvE AlLiAnCe Is BuLLyInG Me WhILe I Am TrYinG to PiCk oN sOmEoNE.

The analogy fits, NATO is the rich highschool jock with the cheerleader girlfriend, and Russia is the bully who gets cigarettes put out on him at night by his dad.

lol The only thing the west should be concerned about is why we (the west) haven't nuked Russia out of it's misery yet.
Aids ridden, apocalyptic, krokodil addicted, gas station. It would be a kindness to the average Russian at this point.
At least the ones who died doing human wave attacks in Ukraine never have to see that ####hole they came from ever again, maybe thier sisters got lucky too and got sold in seacans to Saudi princes so they could buy their mobilized sons body armour. The only ones who still have to suffer an existence in the motherland are the parents with a new deathmoney lada.

Well, I guess we will see soon enough just how rich Nato is and how hot the cheerleader girlfriend turns out to be.

I remember back in the 2010's a car hitting a power pole causing a massive surge frying electronics for dozens of houses. Happens more than you think.

In some cases the entire wiring system needs to get replaced in the home.

Now add in lightning strikes and CME's (both considered acts of God by insurers), this device is a bargain.

That’s called a power surge, not an EMP

Well with the USA shooting down an object the size of a car over Alaska perhaps an EMP attack isn't a distant possibly now - the next one may have 'emp' device that will detonate once they shoot at it.

"EMP Shield For Your Car, House and Generator"

I'm sceptical but even if this device would work, why would you need one for a car anyway as the car body works as a faraday cage??

Something to do with chips being damaged was what they claimed. If you have an old car, truck, van or RV with a carburetor and old school electrical system your good to go.

I think if your a super prepper and have all your food, meds, tools and energy stores figured out these systems would make some sense.... most people won't have to worry about getting their fridge working when there is no food at the store.
