Hey all.
I'm shooting a new Beretta 92FS, and I'm new to the pistol domain. I have a question for anyone with experience in the field. I want to practice my stoppage drills, and I was wondering:
Can I load an empty casing into my magazine, and still have the pistol function normally? (I mean when the action cycles, it will pick up the empty casing instead of a live round)
Will this harm my pistol in any way/shape/form? The manual says to use a dummy round or empty casing for dry firing, so I want to make sure all of the actions cycling with an empty casing wont cause unnecessary wear and tear.
Thanks for the help! (Any yes, the pistol is functioning perfectly. I want to do this for my own accord.)
