Enfield AIA mags--How legal are they?

Jobs, jobs, jobs!

This is a game changer. I predict the m305 will rapidly become the most popular center fire semi-automatic rifle in Canada, if it is not already...
!

Indeed. And a boon to the nation's gunsmiths who will soon be kept busy rebuilding thousands of m305s for new owners unable or unwilling to take on
a DIY gun as challenging as these Norincos! ;^D

How about we stop calling the AIA series of rifles the "Enfield AIA or AIA Enfield". Lets call it what it is, an AIA M10 series of rifle. I own two and yes they are based on the lee Enfield action and are a close copy, but they are not Lee Enfields.

The mags will be blocked to 10 rounds. From the NRM website

These magazines were designed by Northern Republic Magazine Inc. for the AIA Enfield rifle chambered in .308 Win and manufactured by Check-Mate Industries Inc. The magazines are blocked to ten (10) cartridges due to their status as a variant of the Lee-Enfield Rifle and compatibility with the M14 rifle.

If they weren't pinned, I'd order a bunch right now. I'm not sure I want to pay 75$ for a 10 round mag. I might but it would be 1 or 2 if I do
