Yes it's 7.62. I'm actually third owner. The original owner is a retired RCMP SGT. here on Vancouver Island. I've had it about four years and have yet to shoot it! Might actually take it out tomorrow.Talked with friend from BC who is member on site he sent me pic's of his accurized to DCRA specs
Its a small world he has a pristine .280 ross and I have a pretty good one as well.
Now we have twin Longbranch his is 1945 and one thing different than mine do you see it?

Is there a list comprehensive list of MP marked rifles online anywhere? I have one in the 21L range I'm wondering if it is genuine.
Thanks a lot! I'm not on the list, but what do you think of the stamp? The rifle is in excellent shape, (flash makes finish look different), a few hundred rounds through it I'd say.
