Enfield no4mk1 mag, how to deal with 5 round limit

Wow, someone's in a sh*t mood. I don't think the question is illegitimate given that we've seen this reg. change implied quite often lately, with no substance it's reasonable to assume it will, as has been implied affect "rifle mags". I get that it's pointless to ponder, but let's face it, it isn't something that's easy to do with that particular magazine, without cutting and some pretty precise welding. OP - the answer is that it won't be easy, you probably won't be able to do it at home, you also shouldn't have to unless they rewrite the FA - the L-E is written in as an exception to the current magazine rule, a change in the regulation does not over ride what's written into the Firearms Act.

I can not believe the abuse you are receiving in response to a legitimate and perfectly reasonable question. It says a lot about the mentality of some forum members. Nestor - I would be honored to be added to your ignore list.
I too have been considering how the modification could be made IF ULTIMATELY REQUIRED. I think there is a relatively simple modification that is virtually invisible, but will not discuss it prior to doing a trial run. That will not happen unless the modification is actually required.
