If youre thinking of getting into IPSC,buying the gun is actually the cheap part of the excercise compared to ammo costs,holsters,belts,match fees,training courses which all add up quickly,so I would suggest,after looking and trying out a few different guns,buy the one you want,even if its a bit more than your initial budget.Ive seen many shooters over the years start with a suboptimal gun,only to get rid of it a few months later,losing money along the way, to get something better.Shadows are great,the shadow 1s are a great deal,but I think the 2's are even better,cant really go wrong with either.Theres a reason that the vast majority of production shooters are using them.
