Does the front sight interfere with the sight picture with the Eotech?
No, I put the dot above the front sight.
I like having the front sight because I enjoy shooting irons once in a while.
Does the front sight interfere with the sight picture with the Eotech?
If you plan on doing alot of shooting the EOTech should be mounted on the receiver, not an issue if you are a casual plinker but if you go through 500-1000 rounds per range session you MAY encounter problems with the sight overheating and crashing. Not saying it will happen but many LEO and mil. units have run into this problem.
Love my 553...
