Eotech Refund

Few of mine has issues with parts of the red disappearing in certain areas of the glass. Like dead zones.... those I'm sending back for a refund. But never had any poi changes

Msrp converted to CAD or price at store taxes in.

I went off a shops price + tax and was approved

I actually had to re-zero when I zero'd at -8 c then shot at +16 they were all about 3" high at 25m. I've re-adjusted at +12 and it's been OK. Either it was the sight, or I've just got a lot better at off hand 1000 rounds later. Now all rounds hit center of 8.5x11 target 3" circle, at about where I was aiming.
 
When I filled out mine I was approved for $650. I received my cheque yesterday and got $489. Has anyone else had this happen to them??? I am just curious that is all and would anyone know the reason why?
 
Odd Shot: You are correct, the cheque is in US funds. When my buddy went thru his refund reimbursement he was approved for $600. He received his cheque yesterday as well and got $615 in US funds. I am going to give them a call today and find out. I was just curious to see if this happen to anyone else.

Ya, he got the $600 he asked for and the extra $15 was for shipping.
 
I asked for $460 Canadian, plus $15 USD shipping, but the amount I got back in USD only came out to $440 Canadian after the conversion :(
 
I called EOTech this morning to follow up with them about why the difference from the approval amount to the cheque amount I received. The lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful. She past my statement to another department and should get back to me within the next days or as early as beginning of next week. Stay tune.......

Also don't forget when you look up the cost of trading any commodity, you get the 'spot' price, which is like a time averaged price. What really happens is you sell the USD for CAD to someone at some price. Furthermore the banks probably take a small percentage too on the conversion. My refund was 474 USD and I got $584 instead of $600 CAD. Still good IMO. And good on EO Tech for providing this refund.
