great well then you would know in BC the law states your dog must be under your control/supervision at all times on crown landNOT running around loose "aimlesly", and you would also know that it is unlawfull to interfear with a legal hunt in progress

I would like to think someone screaming about anothers Etiquette would have done what they could to hold some themselves
and good call there blacksmithden, enflame a already crappy situation, oh well guess it takes all kinds, but Im sure you will be nicer after you get that pigeon chucker removed from your azz![]()
My hounds are loose when I / they are pursueing game (which means they are sometime km away from me and yes it is legal.)and my birddog was always loose when i was hunting grouse (he was always within eyesight or earshot) .
As for someone enjoying the out doors with their dog running loose there is nothing that states you cant have your dog off leash on crown land its just that it cant be harrassing wildlife unless legally entitled to pursue them off leash.
Control of an animal is a pretty broad statement as a person could say that if they called thier dog and it comes it is under control etc.
one should never intentionally disrupt someones hunt(its everybodys land to enjoy) it is a classless act perpetrated by insecure people that feel the need to try to ruin someone elses day in order to make themself feel better (bully mentality) I have experianced people that purposely disrupt hound hunting and feel they are entitled to do so because they either disagree with it or are ignorant of the laws (and yes this includes other hunters) .
this particular situation seems to me as though one hunter with a dog encountered another hunter that was sitting in a tree stand , to me the situation is just one of those unintentional things and their is no need for anyone to act in a manner that is impolite or discourtious .
when you hunt public land expect to encounter other hunter and other hunting methods other then what you employ.
no harm no foul .
