Exactly my point. Enough of the macho, high-fiving BS and more of what hunting is really about. Those shows do not represent what hunting is all about and do not do anything to educate antis or fence-sitters. They are there for the advertising dollars and the few macho, high-fiving cretins who actually think that that's what hunting is all about.

They represent us, as you say. That's why I think they have the responsibility to represent us honestly and in the best light possible. They don't.

Of course when a woman looks that good she's going to get a lot of jealousy anyway.

Although this is true for the most part, there are exceptions to the rule. My girlfriend was anti-hunting and deathly opposed to guns when we met. In the year and half since, I can get her out to the range and shoot, and I'm taking her son on his first hunt when I get back from work next week. He also wants a shotgun for Christmas this year:). She was never exposed to shooting or hunting, and gained all her knowledge off the news. We had some interesting discussions during the first few months, let me tell you...

I agree that there is some scant hope for the very few individuals who will at least listen to the facts and the hard science which in any reasonable person's mind can't be refuted. It is unfortunate at the very least that the majority of the people who take up this cause are not reasonable and open minded enough to accept the truth which far and away is lost to the lies, half truths and outright deception the anti's have combined with the false rhetoric and emotions defying the truth to be heard.
I much like many here have tried to explain to more than one anti that their effort is not fact based or supported by logic but tragically the emotional aspect of their cause outweighs all else.
The video of "Snow" evoking her personal views on hunting and the killing of poor animals clearly and without exception exemplifies my point here. These people and the anti hunt groups know next to nothing of the realities of slaughter houses and how poorly treated market animals defined as livestock are treated to the point of slaughter. Having that mental vision of eating any meat seriously confuses them to think hunting is cruel to the game animal also.
My own personal view of "Snow" is that she has a very loose grip on reality and strongly suggests to the viewer that she without a doubt has some very obvious emotional problems beyond the issue of hunting and eating meat in general. She's a seriously cracked egg in my opinion and is in dire need of psychiatric help. She is also a very clear example of why some people simply should not breed. Her near public breakdown also strongly supports the old adage that "misery loves company".
But my personal position on them as a group and movement to end hunting and the shooting sports is that they are sorely misguided and trapped in their emotional pleas.
I'll haven't suffered these fools for better than 20 years now and have no desire to revisit this argument with them as for the most part they are dead set against what ethical hunting is simply because they won't hear it. Been there and done it as it's said.
I will not ever suffer these idiots again.
They should all just go piss up a rope for all the nonsense they evoke.

A good start would be for the hunting shows on TV to focus more on the animal and the food from the animal. Most shows end with a victory scream or a high five (or both) and a shot of a dead animal. How many shows show the animal being cared for respectfully after the shot? How many shows explain the importance of proper field dressing, skinning, butchering, etc.? How many shows include a segment where the hunter sits down to a gourmet meal of wild meat with his family/friends?

People say hunters are their own worst enemy, but more and more I see the hunting media industry as one of our worst enemies. As a hunter, I simply can't even watch most of that crap.

What has been said may already constitute uttering threats ? In any case there would be grounds for cyber bullying. I would love to see some charges come out of this.
