Ever realize that your handgun is way more accurate than you are?

That's funny. Two of us just tried bench shooting our Shadows from a rest at about 30m last weekend, and we were putting up about 10" groups repeatedly. I can't explain.

99.9% of the time and as per usual the inexpensive collection of chemicals we know ourselves as are the limiting factor.

It is pretty rare to find a handgun that actually shoots worse than your ability.

That said I've known a few, a cheapie S&W semi .22, can't remember the model of those wretched little things. Also I hand a commander length norinco that was definitely off, no one could shoot it any better than me. It's two ton trigger likely wasn't helping any.

I count myself lucky, as I have excellent vision, steady hands and a keen sense of where the firearm is pointing in my hands with out actually looking at the sights, makes action shooting a lot easier.

I'm also lucky to have big hands, that consume the handgun I'm holding, just makes it easier to fit a large assortment of guns.

If you want to be aware of how well your shooting, get yourself a S&W 52-2 .38spl wadcutter. Absolutely no forgiveness, do your part, cloverleafs or better at 25yds.

I totally know this feeling. A fella at the range asked to try my CZ Shadow and shot a real tight group at 20 yards, said man that is a nice gun. I have never shot a group as tight as his at that range.

I think one of my problems is that there is little in terms of instruction, unless you shoot IPSC or something similar. I need a instructor that will just help me improve without going on about how you should do it in competition or blah, blah...

Just watch me shoot and help me become better without all the bulls**t. Hard to find.
