Ever wait and wait and wait for the right rifle to show up in EE and then ... SPF ? !

I have sold lots of guns that went well within 5 minutes of my posting them and then had up to a dozen or so annoyed potential buyers who missed out.

I tend to price very fairly and usually never have had a EE post last more that 2 or 3 bumps.

Some sellers sure seem to ask well over a fair asking price although and then they either get lucky with a desperate buyer or the EE item lasts for up to 6 months or so.

As mentioned by others you have to be quick or lucky to get the good deals as they go very fast.

I have two of those.

Is yours 26" IC/MOD or 28" FULL/MOD?

I love my 26" to bits!

You see occasional items re-posted because the buyer had second thoughts and backed out. I have thrown a hail Mary on some of these sales by PMing the seller that if the buyer backs out I will like the opportunity to buy. So long everything I missed has eluded me but there is always hope. My personal white whale is a model 100 Ithaca in 20 gauge, I held a used one in my hands 40 years ago before buying my model 37 and cannot get that shotgun out of my head.....

270 totheend

You need some luck with these. A few years ago they were quite common at 5-800 dollars, now if one is near $1000 you got to be clicking. I've owned a few different models of SKB over the years and sold them thinking I could just grab a replacement when ever. After a long search I finally got lucky last year and found this one right at new years when all the gun nutz were hung over or intoxicated. I thought I had paid a little too much but after a season in the field I couldn't be happier.
