Sounds like BS to me. All kinds of hammer guns don't have a safety. A rebounding hammer is a safety. Most CO's wouldn't know one end of a gun from the other.
 
Exotic to me only because they are manufactured in Italy and are hard to find on this side of the Atlantic...Been looking for another in 20 gauge forever...A pair of Beretta 412 singles...16 and 12 gauge full choke.
