Experience pistol trigger pinch or bite?

Anyone experience a slight 'pinch' or 'bite' with certain handgun triggers?

Is there any solution to this outside of wearing gloves? I've tried a couple of different things, including altering my trigger pull to a much different angle than is comfortable or practical. Even then, the pinch is only moderately better.

I'm thinking it's ultimately the fit to my hands is not compatible. As I quite like everything else about this particular handgun, this is proving to be quite disappointing.

I have a few Glocks, different generations and model triggers would hurt my finger after lots of rounds. And Id get a sore on my finger tip later that night. I upgraded all the triggers in them, the trigger in my trigger kits are all flat face. That solved the problem none of them hurt my find anymore no matter how much I shoot

Bersa Thunder Pro. In comparison, it's trigger is fairly close looking to Can-down's 'super curvy' SP01 Tactical.

Curious as it's the first time I've come across this despite using a wide-range of different pistols. Old vs. new, big vs. small, striker vs. hammer, etc.
 
I've never seen this myself, are you using the pad on the tip of your finger to pull the trigger or do you wrap your finger around and use the pad between your first and second knuckle?

Does your Bersa have sharp edges to the trigger? It may be just a case of slightly rounding the edges over. If you have larger hands like I do I find like the others that the deeply curved triggers tend to press at the top of the curve and the tip. Sharp edges at those points would certainly cut in after a while. Because of this I do tend to prefer the flatter triggers like the middle and right hand ones in Can-down's pic.

No sharp edges per se, but it's a thinner trigger than any of my others.

FWIW, it sports a very nice pull. The pinch happens when firing a round, never on dry fire.

By "pinch" you're referring to the flesh of your trigger finger getting caught between the trigger and the trigger guard? My G17 does this (sort of). The flesh is constantly rubbing on the inside of the trigger guard. Not a "pinch" per se, but after a good range session its rubbed raw. And yes, it pisses me off. No, there is no fix aside from a glove (which I'm not going to do) or permanently modifying the guard a la dremmel...which I'm also not going to do.
 
Perhaps focus on pulling the trigger fully to the rear and holding it back against the travel stop throughout the whole recoil cycle. Not only is the the proper way for gaining better accuracy but it may avoid the gun kicking back and letting the trigger grab the finger overflow in the gap at the end of the trigger to the guard.

The fact that it doesn't do this during dry firing suggests to me that you're only pulling to the BANG! and the gun is kicking back and grabbing your finger.

I understand what you're saying and this certainly makes sense. I practice exactly the type of trigger control you describe, but will be doubly-conscious of this on my next range visit.

A gun I own that has the most similar trigger would be a Girsan, but as with any other pistol, I have not experienced this issue.

Definitively a pinch and not a 'rubbing'. Very bottom front of index finger under the cuticle. Will keep in mind technique as per BCRider and see how it effects things.
 
I've been "pinched" by Steyr pistols as well as Springfield XD's

It's the two stage trigger that gets me, the fatty pad of my finger gets pinched.

Never had that issue with glocks or M&P's
