F Class Nationals

Does anyone know what the course of fire is for the Nationals? I haven't received anything from DCRA yet, and I didn't find anything on the website. I'd like to get a head start on brass prep if I can.

I count 254 rounds, including sighters and both team matches (which are included in your entry fee).

BTW there is a minor change to the course of fire Fri-AM, it will be:
2ss10@700m 2ss10@800m, plus a team match of 2ss10@800m

According to my math; 239 rounds if one assumes no more than 2 sighters per relay.

Dan; if there is an known change to the program for Friday am, then I suggest that it be corrected on the website

249, 254, 239....... bring 300 to be on the safe side. What happens if you are in a tie shoot? You will need a min of 6 extra rounds. One sighter and 5 for score. If the score is still tied it goes shot for shot after that. It would really suck if you lost the match because you ran out of ammo.

What are the reasons to only load what you shoot? Bags of basss come in 50s our 100s why not round it to the next 100 or 50?

First figure out what you need as a minimum to complete the match and then..... decide what you want to take for sight-ins, practice and shoot-offs (very rare these days on the ICFRA target) etc.

Flying is a royal PITA with respect to ammo.

Raton with a 223 is it. Nothing else will make the weight for the number of rds we need to bring.

Will be very interesting when my 308 is built. I think we are going to commercial freight ammo down

A most timely post... I checked with DCRA today, and at this point we have 40 people registered. I am thrilled to see this, I have had 40 in the back of my mind as a "yay - success!" level.
