It was a good weekend in great company, and it was nice to be able to put some faces to the CGN names.

How about a little credit for the guy from Ontario who was telling them where to point it? ;)

That was a great match; only one v-bull separating 1st from 3rd.

YUP you the Man, and it's not the first time you Coached us

Oh ya you owe me a pack of Smokes LoL !!!

Regards
Scotty

Indeed a great match. The team match is what its all about. Tight race when you put the best of east and west together.

It was a great weekend, fantastic people, legendary food at the mess, challenging conditions and tasty beverages compliments of Eric and the west.

Can't ask for a better weekend.

The Chou brothers put on a shooting clinic on the FTR side of the house.

Great times, great people ... more stories and myths created. Could not have had a better weekend. Looking forward to coming back again (2014-ish - Raton NM next year!).

Having said Raton ... time to load up 600+ rounds for 2 weeks of the Spirit of America, Stars and Stripes Challenge, and the US F-Class Nationals in September.

There's no pissing match between the East and the West!! Anyone who has more to say about that should get off their butts and come shoot with us out west. Having said that, the boys that came out on top did a very good job and knew the range very well. They deserved to be there and congratulations to them all.
It was a pleasure to meet some new faces, and to reconnect with some old buddies. A good time was had by all the Western boys, as well as the many new Eastern friends we made along the way. As it turns out, golf carts and Yagger do go well together!!

Having shot on several team matches with Terry P, no extra words are needed as he already knows his coaching and his friendship are appreciated.

Thanks to all that put on a great match, and hope to see you all in the near future.
Cheers to you all
Eric

Finally home and healing....unlike some who have stayed on for the entire CFRC (masochists) :)
Just a few comments before I head back to bed..
Again my sincerest Congratulations to ALL who won and to ALL who attended and an additional Hoorah to friends Will and Marius on their "Chairing".
A special shout out to Kevin and Will who, after shooting all day in the Americas Match with us,drove ALL night to start shooting first thing Thursday morning.!!
As this was the FIRST ever Canadian Fclass National Championship,I was truly happy not only to be a participant, but to really see and meet shooters from right across Canada and to a SELLOUT crowd in attendance.
This was one heck of a great group of people .Being able to revisit with old friends and even better ,be able to meet new ones made the effort even more worthwhile. To me the social aspect was just as great a time as shooting on a world class range. So much better face to face than some email, twitter, blog high tech stuff.
Connaught lived up to it reputation of providing challenging conditions and realizations
of how much we've yet to learn.:)
Was kinda hoping we could have gotten an entire GROUP pic of us all so that a hundred years from now we would have that #1 FCNC group.
As to the Future...F ers have asked for changes and the DCRA and PRA's are listening and doing. For those who attended, please take the time to write to Daniel and the DCRA with input on what went right and what could use some tweeking for the future matches.
For those who couldn't attend, this is a great opportunity to consider planning to attend in the years ahead.
And as a final thought....Thanks for posting pics as I killed my camera in Perry.Hopefully others will have some more to add to the collection.
Regards
Gord O

Congratulations to Will and Marius! Really tight competition for top place. They perservered throughout all those wind changes. Most excellent shooting for shoulder to shoulder competition.

Coaching the Alberta boys is easy...they're excellent shooters that produce on demand. They do this consistently, and it makes my job easy.

BTW Scott, you don't get your smokes until Aug 2013, but I'll be there to help you get rid of them.

I'm seeing a direct correlation between smoking and top notch shooters, whoa, just think of the marketing possibilities.

so that's gotta be the wind reading voodoo, @#%^ the mirage and the flags just smoke... & apparently often.
