F-d over by FOC incompetence

FOC ought to gift him the .22, refund him 100% cash and let him keep the pistol. It's not like either party can resell the gun?

FOC is the new Tenda!

I'd be pissed too. I hope we get a new conservative majority and the ban is over turned so you can get your pistol. One the pistol arrives dispute the charges with your CC. If they can't transfer it back, let them deal with your CC company.

While Walther makes great stuff the 22 version of the PPQ is unmitigated dogpoop, in contrast to the real PPQ which is excellent. The slides crack in half, sometimes with comically low round counts, among other issues.

You're lucky to even have any kind of gun! In the near future none of you will have any guns. Keep arguing and being nasty on here but don't cry to hard when you don't own anything and have zero freedom. What a waste of time. People trying to act like things are totally normal on here. Companies still trying to sell off their semi auto inventory???? WTF!!!! Reality is going to be a hard place for so many on here when it slaps them in the face. No wonder Canada is in such a disgraceful state.

Your line of thinking is completely backwards.

Such a useful contribution to this thread...:jerkit:

FOC sha t the bed big time and their solution is completely unreasonable. They have deprived the OP of his last chance to own this pistol. They should at the least offer to refund 50% of his purchase price. Not 20% of future order, WTF is that? "Hey, we screwed this guy, lets see if we can make so.e more $$$ off him"
OP you should get the pistol in your hands and then file a claim with your CC.

And what is the CC going to do? If he asks for a charge back on the basis that he didn't receive what he ordered he'd have to return the gun wouldn't he? Which would put him in the exact same position as he's in now - either keep the gun or get a refund?

Sure they can. They can export it or sell to another business can't they? Perhaps a business that has a range?...

Best in a situation like this is to make the best out of it.

Judging by your first post, I assume that you don't have any other handguns. I wonder what made you buy one now? I did not have any for a few years and decided to buy some from different dealers - I have dealt with before. Not providing a reference number would have been a red flag for me. I remember placing and order with them this year and it went smooth but in general they are not on my list since they are amongst a few dealers in ON who are charging full tax to BC residents, so everything they are selling is 7% more for me.

Really? They made a mistake during an unprecedented buying spree, apologized for it, and offered to refund you. Then they offered you 20% off anything as an additional apology if you kept it?

Those bastards, if only they admitted that they messed up, offered a refund, offered 20% off another purchase if you choose to keep it. (Hopefully you catch the sarcasm there)

Good grief

Before you run your mouth and jump to FOC’s defence, perhaps you should read this thread in it’s entirety.

Might change your mind.

So, who is the lucky bastard that paid for a PPQ .22 and received the OP’s PDP instead ?

Something is wrong here…….

Simple solution…..FOC gets the PPQ .22 to the person that paid for it and wanted it. Then they get the PDP transferred back to them, calls the CFO and gets the PDP transferred to the OP.

The only way this doesn’t work is if the person that received the PDP in error is dishonest and refuses to send it back.
