Why can't we do this with a Troy PAR or other STANAG pattern non-semi? Just mill the receiver to accept a non-STANAG (due to modifiation) magazine.

JB Welded steel nuts onto the magazine so that it will not insert inito the mag well of a 10/22 or Charger.
If it's OK for the RCMP to suggest mods to magazines to make them compliant with their non legally binding ruling then modifications to make the mags uninsertable into 10/22s and Chargers are OK too.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
But that's hard work and could be dangerous. Why go after criminals when you can just go after law abiding citizens? They're law abiding, they won't fight back.
