They are very well made.
I have a 14" and it has a different "feel" than an 870 or 590a1. Partly due to it's machining being more refined I guess.
I JUST bought an 11 inch initial off the EE... paid $1000 shipped for it. Its the nickel version and was unfired. Its BEAUTIFUL. I bought this version specifically because it DOESNT have the rail and the sights are super low profile so it should be an easy gun to carry in the woods. Only downside I can see right now is its a bit on the heavy side. But I can deal with that.
The fore end has a rail on the bottom at the front and 2 more threaded holes on each side at the front to mount accessory rails. Its a nice setup.
The stock is the beauty part IMO though. Mines the adjustable stock and its just SO nice. Im so impressed. I thought it was going to be gimmicky when i first saw a picture, but its ROCK solid, feels excellent, works so smooth and is ergonomically perfect.
The gun is the smoothes shotgun I've ever used. It cycles like it has ball bearings or something. IMO, worth every penny I spent. And id buy another in a heartbeat if I ever had the "need".

IMO the STF 12s are only worth the money if ur a huge fan of Tactical shotguns. I bought the 16" STF12 when they first came into the country and I sortof regret buying it now; due to its price point. It's like owning a Bugatti, it's wicked, sortof overpriced, but mainly unessecary to own.
The quality is definitely there, and the action is one of the smoothest pumps I've handled, the ergos are well thought out and the shotgun is hands down the comfiest shotgun to shoot for extended amounts of time... I can shoot BOXES of 3" magnum slugs through that gun and think nothing of it.
I finished off a black bear this fall with mine. Believe me, when ur following the blood trail of a wounded bear into the thickest bush youv ever seen, nothing will make u feel safer than carrying a STF 12 loaded with slugs in your hands.

Oh, another complaint I have to add is The Shooting Edge, which deals these shotguns, has totally been Sh!ting the bed when it comes to importing accesorys for the STF 12, buyer beware, if u want an extended mag tube for ur Fabarm, buy a row boat and start paddling to Italy, you'll be more likely to receive it faster that way then waiting for STE to bring them in!
For anyone still on the fence about these, TSE's Black Friday sale price on the non railed versions may be enough to get you off th fence!

They really are amazing little shotguns and, if you don't already have one (and can live without the full length rail), are a no brainer at these prices!!
For the mag extention I just ordered one from S&J for my pistola. Not sure if the STF12 has the same treads as the older Fabarm's but might want to shoot S & J a email and ask. The older Fabarm's take Benelli nova extentions.
Extension for the pistola? How long is the extension? How far past the muzzle does it extend? Pics?
