Fabarm STF/12 Initial, 11" Shorty Shotgun Review

I love my Martial ProForces 14 and I may have to add one of these too as I'm a bit of a shotgun addict!

Family portrait is mandatory :sok2

I could be wrong... but I'm assuming the STF/12 has a metal buttstock. Am I correct, STF/12 owners??? It just feels different than the polymer one on my Pro Forces. I'm sure I could just pull off the buttpad and look.

I got 26 3/4" from the barrel to the end of the grip. Both measurements are still over 660mm minimum length for Non-Restricted awesomeness! With the stock extended and brake it fits in a 40" case. And, yes you can fire it with the stock folded. :shotgun:

I really had no interest in the 16" folding stock version until the 2 guys in this thread posted pics... it's pretty damned nice with a longer barrel on it (even though it's shorter than a normal 18.5" barrel). Is there a +2 tube extension for this shotgun? It would probably make the tube almost flush...

Awesome. I checked the online PDF list from the Fabarm site. I'm going to email TSE and find out if they have them in stock.

That has a nice ring to it. STF-Owners/12 or STFO/12 = StayTheF***OUT/12. Someone should talk to Fabarm's marketing staff.

STFUAS (Shut The F Up And Shoot) better for you :)

Could someone explain the difference in the Chokes available for the STF series and the Martial? Martial is easy, only one kind of external choke available from TSE. As for the inner threaded chokes, there seems to be a bunch of different ones. Which is the correct one or do all of them fit the STF/12? I asked in TSE's section with no answer. Anyone buy the chokes?

I take it the "Innerchoke" and "Inner HP" chokes are different? "In-Out" and "Inner Plus"??? Pretty confused now.

Shot mine on Sunday, only slugs at 25 yards.

Action is smooth, great sights and perfect fit for me.

The only downside and its minor to be honest, the +1 tube finish gets burned off from the gases escaping the breacher but thats normal on 11"

Look forward to shooting this more when my range is open in a week.

Tube finish burning off? Never heard of that before... maybe you should post some pics. I did buy a small takedown hard-case for my STF/12:

Cabela's Heavy polymer case with metal clasps, pretty impressed (kind of like their Plano case knock-off for $150 less). If anyone is interested, it's now on sale for $103.99. Internal storage is 36.5" L x 13.5" W. It's wide enough to fit both of my Fabarm shotguns inside (11" and 14").

Does anybody know what the 2 chokes that come with this shotgun equate to ? The one without the brake thread is supposed to be Cylinder according to the parts diagram, but yet a dime does not fit in it, neither the choke threaded for muzzle brake.

I believe the muzzle brake comes with a 'choke' to make the brake/breacher screw in and the other is Cylinder Bore. If you didn't buy other chokes, there aren't any besides Cylinder Bore, from what I understand.
