Factory Threaded Barrel Glocks - 19, 23, 21SF, and 17!

Damnit, I just bought a DD M4A1 and now I see this. Glock 19 has always been on my list.. And now I can cross it off.

It's only $100 now, you have 6 weeks to come up with the rest. DO IT!

LOL.

Interested in a Gen 3 barrel for a 19.

Exactly... And the idiots on the EE selling their G19's with no warranty and 2000 rounds down the pipe for MORE than this.

This is an awesome sale. My G19 is reserved. Can't wait!

Hi guys,

I am not trying to derail anyones's enthusiasm of these glocks, but am genuinely curious what the attraction is of the threaded barrel. I can understand the idea of having a non prohib G19 with a factory barrel ( actually I am seriously considering the G19 just because its not prohib.), but on a G17? Wouldn't the protruding barrel make holster use more difficult and make it less esthetically pleaseing? Or is it just more because they are of a limted run/opportunity kind of thing?

Because one day, if everyone does their part, suppressors will be legal in Canada.

Quick question, but will the transfers be initiated once the serial numbers are known, or only once you have them in stock.? For those not in the know, the arseholio cfo's have been downgrading rpal's to pal's upon renewal if no restricted was acquired, and I'm getting awfully close to that day.

For us, that will be the same time -- we'd get the shipment faster than we'd get a list of transferred serial numbers given our proximity to the distributor. We'll have the transfers done the same day the pistols land and the final payment is completed by the buyers.

Cheers,
Daniel

Thought Glocks were warrantied for life?

Coming from a Gen 3 collection (but with the luxury of handling and shooting quite a few guns!) I do like the Gen 4 rough frame texture "pebbling", but I sort of prefer the Gen 3 overall just because it's what I'm used to. I am also a very tall guy, and I have very large hands, but I feel really at home on a Glock 19/23 frame, even more so than my 17. I have a 17L and a 19 TB in on this order like a lot of the rest of you guys and girls here on CGN, so I'm along for the ride with you, but I am really excited for the smaller frames as they're always my favorite pistols in the Glock family when I spend my holidays in our southern neighbor nation visiting friends and family.

The Glock 19/23 size really is the sweet spot I think!!

The current popularity contest for this special order, for those curious:
1. Glock 19 TB (by a very big span)
2. Glock 17L (quite surprising that so many 17L fans like myself are out there)
3. Glock 23 TB
4. Glock 21SF TB
5. Glock 17 TB

Cheers,
Daniel

OMG, I can't believe it, in a moment of weakness I seem to have paid a deposit for a G19 TB of my own...!!!!!!!!! Eeek!

First polymer pistol (and only my second total), first Glock, first threaded-barrel, first online order... lots of firsts!

I'm taking a bit of a chance here, since I don't think I've ever seen a 19 in the flesh. But even a total newbie like me is sensing from the comments that these Glocks are a little different and special, and that a 19 is harder to come by than Gen3 or Gen4 17s because of the prohibited barrel length. Is that true, are 19s trickier to obtain in Canada? 17s seems common around here, which may be part of the allure of the 19 (something a little different, especially with the factory TB). I figure if I like this one, I can always pick up a 17 later.

There is something cool about it being an Austrian Glock, since the ones I've looked at in person have all been American. Is there a difference?

Is it possible to get spare magazines for the 19, are they common? And how many mags will accompany this 19 TB? I thought that had been answered somewhere but I can't find the post anymore. (Edit: Ok, pls ignore this last question, I reread the post... and found the "Edit" feature...)

The TB does seem kinda neat, especially if its length brings the 19 into restricted territory. Is there anything interesting and legal that I can thread on the end of the 19, just for laughs 'n giggles at the range? I'm not sure what the TB is for, besides a suppressor, which I don't want/need since this girl is most definitely staying on the law-abiding side of things!

Finally, what about the G17L? Seems like they have their fans, and they look super cool if slightly weird from the photos I've seen... Any thoughts?

If someone had told me a year ago that I would have a RPAL and would be ordering Glocks online, I would've told them they were crazy... and yet, here I am! I can already feel that this could become a terrible addiction... :D

Ok, please ignore my question about "how many mags"... upon rereading the original post, my question has of course been answered.

Haste and excitement are to blame...

... because there's a Glock 19 TB with my name on it!

:D
