Fake can on a t97

Hey guys, probably a dumb question but has anyone attached a fake can to the t97 yet? I was thinking I want to take the flash hider off the barrel and attach a fake can to it. I was wanting to put one on that didnt extend very far past where the flash hider extended to, and back to the frame. Can these things just be clamped on or something? Anyone know where you'd get one?

Of anyone's done this could you post pics?

I was thinking of something like the fake can/shroud that comes with the g36 nomad shell for the 10/22 that just slips over the barrel, or something I could clamp over the barrel after I remouved the flash hider
 
Barrel is threaded its just in some odd ball Chinese threaded pattern but no idea were you could get a shroud.

Really? Have you seen under the FH? I'd be curious to know the actual thread pitch.

If Allen Gunworks, ATRS, and Dlask can all make custom muzzle devices, they could probably handle a T97 device with the right information.
 
E&L manufacturing (US) can make them to your specs and are reasonably priced, and just slide over the barrel and secure with a tensioning ring and screw. Check out some of the JR Carbine threads that discuss the shrouds from E&L.

When I get back from Edmonton I will have to check that out. I just contacted ATRS about custom work to the T97 (with relation to the muzzle) It didn't sound promising (fiscally). If there are existing threads, I will pay to have one made up! I was under the impression there were no threads.
