Who sells Falcon Menace scopes in Canada. I am looking for a FFP 4-14x44. I just don't have the cash right now for another Vortex PST. I am running a Burris of similar magnification with a BDC reticle, it's an ok piece of glass and I am satisfied with the clarity but don't care for the BDC or the turrets.

Other options at a similar price range with FFP and target turrets would be great.

I've owned both. I didn't care much for the 4-14x44 to be honest. The FOV seemed pretty small (never did look at the specs), and the turret clicks are a bit soft for my liking.

I much prefer the turrets on the PST line, as they are MUCH tighter and the clicks are nice and 'tactile'. A quasi-zero-stop on the PST is nice as well.

Another downside for the Falcon (for me) was that the magnification ring was TIGHT. And quite slippery. Makes for a bad combo. I tried changing the magnification 100s of times, but it loosened only slightly. Even tried to warm it with a hairdryer... that made it easier a bit, but still too tight for my liking. My 4.5-18x56 is better than the 4-14 was, but still not great.

Falcon scope is a beast. It's heavy and feels massive. The Vortex is lighter weight for sure.

If I were you, I'd actually save my pennies and go with.... Sightron. :) Seriously though, if I had to swap my PST right now, I'd buy a comparable Sightron. The nicer ones are a BIT out of your price range, but I've become a bit of a glass snob over the past few years. ;)

I bought my 1.5-5 Falcon Menace from Frontier Firearms. Great to deal with, fast shipping! Overall I think its a decent scope for the price. It performs well for the purpose I had in mind for it.

how's the tracking? repeatable? does it actually track the right amount of mil or moa?

I haven't really used this scope for that type of shooting. I mounted it on my SR-22 and more or less zeroed it and shoot it. That being said, while sighting it in, it tracked exactly how you would expect it to. Even when stretching it out to 100 yards and making adjustments, it tracked 1/4" with every click. But for the most part once I zero it, I leave it. Except for when it gets knocked off zero (had some ring issues, my fault, not the scopes).

Its MOA by the way.

Falcon's warranty sucks...the website says lifetime warranty but what they don't say is that they've only been doing that for the last 18 months or so. Basically if you don't have a receipt, you don't have a warranty. This is a huge deal when you can spend a little more to buy a Vortex or Leupold and get a better scope and hassle free warranty. Resale value is definately affected.
