Hey guys~I've always been intrigued by this action, and never put-off by the idea of a single shot. Recently, skimming through the EE quickly..I think I remember seeing a heavy barrel Browning in .223, falling block action. I never associated these guns as being anything but higher-caliber hunting guns..can't say I knew they existed in lighter/varmint calibers. I'm now intrigued! I do have a few questions, and hope someone here on CGN can offer me some insight.
1. Is there a Browning or Ruger (#1) heavy barrel, falling block, made in .223 or .204R?
2. How does their accuracy stack-up against a bolt gun costing the same?
3. Browning doesn't list these guns anymore (that I can see), the Ruger #1 doesn't seem to be available in these calibers currently
4. Guns are worth what people will pay for them, but what kind of price range for a nice specimen?
Thanks for taking a moment to reply, photos welcome!
