I agree with you. I can buy a 2008 quad for this... and the amount of material used in the vtt is far more expensive than a gun like this (engineering is too. An engine is far more complex than a gun in my opinion). sometime I don't understand price on this planet... I know it follow the demand/supply curve but still..

So get a 2008 quad then and be done with it, or find another importer willing to import a larger volume of rifles for a lower cost. I promise you I will eat my words if you do.

These may be reasonably cheaply made rifles that are plentiful in numbers, but they are not plentiful in Canada, and until they are, expect to pay a premium.

Supply and demand 101. Reasonably high demand from Canadian shooters, low supply predicted to enter the country at the moment, and they have been delayed, only making this more true.
 
I am ok so far with waiting.
I have been keeping within the restrictions of my restraining order on waiting for the 540 and 542.

Santa, the local LEOs and Nick are all keeping a close eye on me and a good distance from me.

you missed something, TI posted a link referencing price, and it was under 3k.
