If anything, the timing of the FAMAE line getting FRTs is pretty f@cking incredible wouldn't you say.

Also, does anyone know anything about ERE Systems? Have they been in business for decades now and exported out of Chily thousands of firearms? Or is this a fresh start up company put together just for the import of FAMAE firearms into Canada?

The ladder option seems to be more like it when looking at their website ht tp://eresystems.com/.

I ask this in light of the comment by CSC :

Perhaps there's a Chiliean website somewhere that I didn't find that CSC could point us too. Just trying to establish how solid of a foundation this business relationship is sitting on.
Well you could always ask them. I know they sell them into Saudi Arabia and the numbers are not insignificant.
I note that there is now a bit if a move to slag ERE. It seems strange to me that folks are willing to disparage a sizeable Canadian company with solid credentials servicing military equipment here and abroad. Just because a bunch of CGN'er hobbiests have not heard of them does not make them fly by night.
Hell they operate a 60,000 sq ft facility in southern Alberta. Lots of CGN dealers operate out of basements! Who do you think offers more stability?

Saudis eh. Great bunch of folks.

Re slag - I don't think it's slag, but rather us (well maybe me) wanting to make sure that the company who's bringing in these FAMAE rifles isn't some popcorn operation quickly set up and who doesn't have the funds to back it up. Like it or not, the website I liked in a previous post was set up just two weeks ago and doesn't say anything about any other products they bring in or who they are really.

So yeah, considering the klusterf@ack of the SAN rifle that you and TSE are involved in, I'm sure (hope) that you'll understand there's a bit of hesitation and questioning going on since these rifles are so closely related.

I would operate under the assumption that the ERE Systems company that is importing the FAMAE rifles is a sister company to ERE Logistics (Part of the ERE group of companies), which has been involved in the development and upgrading of both military and fire rescue vehicles for over a decade.

If Norinco can bring kit in through multiple importers, then good for FAMAE to involve competition in Canada.

Did you read that KelTec?

CSC, until the dust clears from the SA saga, might I recommend that you talk privately and cooperatively with TI.
Lawyers fighting their case in the press have never impressed me.

Do I love SAs, sure I bought two and pending funds may even branch into a CQB or even a carbine.
Do I love FAMAE, sure I will buy multiples there eventually too, pending funds.

You deal with a rather high end product for sure.
I will better enjoy throwing my money at you, if you can maintain my respect.
I don't want to get splattered as the result of a public p*ss**g contest.
My blood pressure is high enough over the SA issue.

Who says friendly competition is a bad thing? Let's keep it that friendly.
Play nice, encourage small group sizes and celebrate really big piles of empty casings.

It's funny that so many have decided to make this out to be a pissing match. It isn't. Two companies are bringing a new line of firearms into the country. I simply point out that the current FRT references refer to guns being produced for ERE. The immediate result is that both CSC and ERE are called names and the tin foil hats come out. If you have questions about ERE because you have not heard of them before how hard is it to google the company? Instead folks start making up conspiracy theories.
I am even advised that it would be better for me to keep quiet about our company selling the new guns!
I appreciate that folks might be sensitive in light of the SAN situation but sometimes a post is just a post and there is nothing else to read into it.

What's really funny is you refuse to just let things slide and clam up. Your business name is already surrounded by much controversy around the SA that one would think an intelligent business owner wouldn't go looking for further trouble in a thread regarding FRT# for different type of gun.

It's the whole less is more idea. You say less, people won't say anymore and you fly under the radar and your business isn't affected any further. Or you can continue on with your arrogance, disregarding what the masses are advising you to do and it may affect your business in a serious way. You don't have to admit any wrong doing, just throw in the towel, sit back and relax.
