I know they're not a sponsor, but let's face it, a lot of us shop there.

I even had really positive experiences there today- they replaced a defective scope ring and made my life MUCH easier, and gave me help finding some other items.

Positive experiences at Lebaron AND sale prices- think I'd better buy a lottery ticket tonight!

I have spent over $20,000 at Lebaron over the last 8-9 years. They know who I am when I phone, but it does not matter. I had an issue with a $25 item (100% their fault), and they basically told me to go f*** myself.

They have seen the last of my money...

We should send the company president or the share holders a CGN membership so they can find out what sh!tty service they have at times.

Unfortunately I keep going back because of availability.

FWIW I had it up to there with WSS and their service, sent a message attn Brad (when he was still there) and it certainly got his attention. He got it all sorted stat.

Of course they are still stuck with the same staff who don't have a clue but sometimes they pay attention.

I recommend you send them a nice email of how you like to 'pay it forward' the good and also the bad experiences you have with their service like you've mentioned here. Might help get your schtuff sorted out, maybe.....hopefully.

What availability? They only have 1/4 of their catalogued items in stock. They'll put firearms on special in the catalogue, even though they only have one of each...

I phoned and talked to the manager, and that's who I got the attitude from. I've had FAR better service from the dealers on here and locally, and Lebaron isn't much cheaper on most items anyway.

Piss on them.

HA! Too true! I complained once to the 'head office' about the 6 item list of things from the catalogue that were not in stock all at the same time. They could not get me 3 of them at all and the other 3 they wouldn't ship from any other location because I have a 'local' store.

Its interesting on how you always hear negative comments about Le Baron no matter which store it is. How can each store , be it in Ontario, or Quebec give the same sh!tty service?

My first guess would be that LeBaron just treats their emploees like crap, therefore the employess could care less about the level of sevice they offer. Yet, the LeBaon in Montreal seems to have a few very long time employees, so if they are treated poorly, why do they stay.

There has to some other reasons why all 4 stores seem to get negative reviews.

My last Bass Pro experience wasn't too frikken good either.

The guy at the gun counter was a f'ing ####!

And their prices SUCKED!!!

Unlike Lebaron, at least Bass Pro had some inventory.

Its part of the hiring process. You need to fill all the following requirements:

1) ####ty attitude
2) ignorant
3) arrogant enough to make every customer feel like you are doing them a favor
4) let everyone that walks in the store know that you know everything and are NEVER wrong.
5) Never admit you made a mistake or are wrong, even when you are.
6) When a customer asks for an item, tell him its out of stock, without even looking.
7) When a customer asks for an item, tell him its out of stock, because you are too lazy to go look.
8) When a customer asks for an item that's not in the catalogue, tell them to get lost.
