Favored low pressure 12ga loads

I don't lube my cushion wads normally, I have used pre lubed wads but found no difference in killing power.
In my muzzle loaders these days I am using wasp nest between the powder and shot, and a .035 over shot wad.

I don’t lube to affect killing power, rather, I do it to help with cleaning at the end of the day. Completely un necessary for hunting type shooting but when shooting skeet, I find the grease cookie keeps the fouling soft and thin, “dry” loads work great for a few shots but I find the fouling gets hard when shooting 25 rounds in 15 minutes.

I clean in between each sheet or trap round when at the range- squirt a bit if water snc ballidtol down then use a torpedoes brush and swab after.
For my muzzle loaders I just swab after each squad.

Huh. Love how this turned into a BP thread. I have 2 good size nests in the yard that the hornets will be leaving soon so I guess I'll harvest some
Yeah kinda drifted offtrack( AGAIN! LOL)
I use my low pressure loads in my vintage hammer guns at the range sometimes, and for skeet especially, and also in my modern guns .
I shoot a lot of 24 and gram loads these days....
