ill play!
my 10/22 that i got back in 1984, i estimate i have put over 100k rounds through this gun in the 80's while growing up on the farm.
i cleaned it up and replaced the guts with VQ stuff and it still shoots like a dream.
it currently has a Bushnell Trophy scope on it (because im getting old)
but the gun i take out the most and the gun i truly love is the Custom Dlask i made a couple years back.
heavy as hell but for me its perfect.
i can sit on the bench for hours plinking with it and i never get tired of it.
i think it means a lot to me because i put it together by hand every part and did a lot of swapping around of stuff to get just the right mix.
runner up!
my dads Cooey Model 82.
my grandfather came home with this gun either before WWII or after.... the story is fuzzy, but it came home with him one day.
its was one of the trainer rifles.
it was handed down to my dad and he shot it exclusively from the late 60's until he upgraded to a 10/22 in the early 1990's.
i fondly remember growing up on the farm and blazing away at the gophers with my 10/22 and then my dad would snipe a single shot and take one down further then i could even see.
it was handed down to me here a couple years ago and i cleaned it up.
i dont shoot it - or havnt since i got it but i will and ill keep it in tip top shape until one of my kids takes it over for the 4th generation to have it.
