Yes someone will reinvent the 250-3000 improved with a faster-twist barrel. I think the old 30-06 vs 270 argument was becoming boring so more hairs to split were required.

Very heavy 7mm bullets would make things even more interesting...
There aren't enough 6.5 cases with capacity to drive a heavy for calibre bullet well over 3000 fps?
R.
What’s the need for a heavier 25cal bullet when a 100gr TTSX works so well?
It doesn't work well all the time. I hunted with the 100 gr. TSX with results of almost losing two whitetail bucks; terrible expansion from these bullets, never again.....Nosler all the way!
I almost lost a few bears with the TSX too. Until I walked over and found them dead.
Poor shooting also does that. From experience.
110 gr Nosler Accubond. Excellent game bullet, expands reliably, a true hunting bullet, like the Partition, plus better bc and better accuracy.
I wouldn't trade my 257Roberts for a 6.5CM any day of the week, but for the factory load shooter there are a lot fewer choices in 25cal.

Bullet failure determined from dead animals?
That's right, 500 plus yards from place of impact, and 200 yards with the second buck. With the 100 grain ballistic tip, almost guaranteed, DRT. The only time I used Barnes, and both failed; never had a failure with Nosler, never. I hunt trophies, and take it serious not to lose an animal. Without snow I might of lost this buck...........
