I have also switched to Nosler, which btw is made by Winchester, Remington, Federal and Norma, they only use Norma for the casings that the other three do not make. Nosler sorts them by weight, they are measured, sized, trimmed, and chamfered and sorted into lots. That is why they are so uniform.
I've used Federal Match brass for my 300 WinMag and my .308 I can't complain about it. I just bought a 30-06 so I need some new brass. My old supplier seems to be out of town now. I checked most of our contributing members last night but didn't find a lot. Where does everyone get their brass ???I like Winchester brass in my Winchester rifles, just seems natural.
The brass I use is older and seems to take the throat expansion and crimping to receive bullets, without any issues so far.
That's what I've been reading. Wholesale Sports is the easest place for me to get stuff. I think I'll try Nosler, Remington and maybe the Federal Premium.I found the vintage winchester brass to be excellent the new stuff terrible.
