Howdy, I'm building another precision 1022 precision rig, and was wondering what are the favorites these days. Especially for competition shooters.

I'm not asking for suggestions, just wondering what people are using on their precision set ups. No $ limit, say out to 200yrds

I use a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16 x 50
and a Sightron STAC 4-20 x 50
If I had the cash I would like to be using a March 5-50 x56mm($3400usd), or an 8-80 x56mm($3600usd)

I use a Mueller APV. Not 'fancy' by any means, but well recomended in a lot of rimfire circles and has been solid performer for me at 100M.

Mueller 8-32x44 SF target dot (50m BR target)
Older Bushnell elite 6-24x40 AO (mod. 6241)(silhouette)

I have a cheap Chinese 8-32x50 its surprisingly clear and sharp. Easily as good as my bushnell elites and legend ultra hd scopes. Its a 30mm tube. Its rated for a 338 win mag. Its held up on my 300 wm so im assuming my 22lr will never hurt it.

Where do we look to get our hands on a Mueller optic in Canada? I have a ruger precision rimfire on preorder and Mueller has a decent amount of suitable optics for not a lot of money.

Amazon.ca is about the only place to get one in Canada. Be aware that there will be no warranty on it.

Shooting benchrest 50 & 100 y top shooters are using sightron 10x to 50x,nightforce 12x to 42 x benchrest model, 24x leupolds & bausch & lomb
last shoot in nov was won bye my son shooting a remington 540xr with 8 32x mueler.
Try and stay with a variable scope i have seen fixed 36x scope having problems with mirage.

I use different scopes on different .22's but on my most prestigious BR-50 Annie, I use a Nightforce Competition 15-55-52. You said no price limit...

I use a few Sightron SIII 10-50 scopes. I set them to around 35X to 40X and don't change magnification much. They have excellent glass. I also use fixed 36X scopes. I like to see the target as well as possible. I'm tempted to try some inexpensive scopes on a couple of .22LR rifles too see how they can do.
