Couple on the ee the other day at reasonable prices compared to what a new one will run you.
You have to figure out first what you will use it for. Target shooting or hunting. For hunting, there are many good ones out there since 308 is the most popular round for medium to long range hunting. But sitting on a bench shooting a light, recoil high 308 might not be much fun.
Shot one as a kid, most ornery hard kickin a-hole ever, a rem 700 bdl 30-06 was a dream by comparison, best 308s I’ve had are the ones I sold. Good riddance
Here's one I don't own anymore, kind of wish I did... one of the best executed mannlicher style carbines since the original 1903 M-S, I think.
Next time I'm tempted to sell a gun I'm going to have to write myself a letter in triplicate listing all the reasons I would want to do such a stupid thing. Maybe I can talk myself out of it.

Colt LE-901, the Colt USA Monolithic Upper Receiver (Free-Floated Barrel) Battle Rifle. Mine is exceptionally accurate, as in sub-MOA accurate past 800m (the extent of my local range). It outshoots most of my precision bolt-guns, and that is no llie nor exaggeration. And yet suddenly according solely to the Lieberal government of Kanada it has no further sporting purpose nor suitability. The CAF just adopted this very same rifle as the C20 Sniper Rifle, and yet it has no precision shooting sporting purpose. Yeah, right....
Have to say my favourite 308 Win rifle owned/used/hunted with to date was a pre-81 Browning BLR. Do not currently own a 308.
While I really like the Winchester Model 88, the 3 I own now have all been rebarreled to other cartridges (250 Savage, 7mm-08 and 338 Federal...just not a 308 fan)
If I were to look at acquiring another 308, I would look for a Ruger No.1 RSI. (Love the full length stock!) But that is just me (and I'm a lefty).

Good looking rifle. I was building myself an AR10 based medium range precision rifle when the turd intervened. And I would really much more have black rifles than black face. - dan

I've got a Leopold 3-9 with the Wind Plex reticle on the way for it.
I don't really have a use for it though.
