OK, until last weekend I though I was bored of handguns. Then I shot a fellow's super redhawk in .454
I GOTTA get me something like THAT! Man, that's a lotta fun. Anyway, I know next to nothing about revolvers.
I'm particularly interested in double-actions. The only big ones I've ever seen are the S&W X-frames and the Ruger super redhawk. I'm leaning toward the 5" S&W 460 for it's ability to digest 454 and 45lc as well, but the ruger 454 is more attractive to my eyes and about half the price.
Anyone else know of any large-frame revolvers out there in .454 or better that I should be considering before I plunk down any cash?
