I contacted Winchester and got no reply. Maybe I should be more persistent.

They are a big company id give it a few days before escalating things

That's awesome, which manufacture was it? Did you need a receipt for proof of purchase? I don't keep receipts for ammo purchases, because of the whole non refundable thing for safety reasons.

I did not require a proof of purchase, i got a bunch of pics of the round and the box with lot number on it and email it in to them.

I'd prefer not to say as they did take good care of me for my troubles, replacing the ammo and filling a box full of swag and the 300 off a new firearm purchase but it was some remanufactured canadian made stuff.
