Fiberglass or wood usgi stock?

I have a big box full of liners with screws ;) and I order ferrules in bulk as it is, so can put a package together.
The version requireing the liner takes much less time over reproducing the action inlet completely, like the standard usgi stock. The "liner required" version is an attempt to make a more affordable option for folks wanting a quality stock for their favorite rifle ;)
I have a new computer on the way and internet will be restored to full capacity as well. I'll get the pics and other info up as soon as permits.

Try Treeline M14. They didn't actually have any fibreglass in stock last time I checked but they have decent prices and are great to deal with. Some great walnut USGI stocks too. I got a Fibreglass (from the EE) and painted it. See if you can find a product at your local marine dealer called "Star 10" It's great for stripping the old paint. Buuuut.....like a lot on here say, I think I'm going to have to get another rifle to put a nice walnut stock on!!

I'm going to need a liner in my pants if I don't stop eating all these mandarin oranges today.

m14doc, will your new USGI clones be choppable for pistol grip / AR stock? My goal to be an AR10 wannabe fanboy is about to come true, but i'm looking for options.

Funny you mention that ;)
I've been following the availlability of usgi FG stocks stateside. The surplus availlable is very depleted. Companies like Vltor rely on these usgi stocks to make their m14 socom stocks. So a chopped version that mates with the Vltor m14 buttstock adaptor is already sitting here waiting to be sent to Vltor with a proposal to offer them an alternative. Maybe a long shot but ya never know.
I never really pondered making a "project" stock for folks who want to make their own "CQB" type as I already offer the finished M14S-CQB.

Long and short, if you want a stock from the wrist forward so as to chop mod in your own grip and adaptor? Sure why not? Email me and we can discuss.

Fiberglass, carbon fiber, etc is far better for accuracy shooting...more stable.

Wood is the tuxedo that the M14 likes to wear to look good. LOVE the look of a properly parkerized rifle in a nice dark birch/walnut stock, proper flash hider and iron sights
