Why the hell would I want an ad on the right side of my lower? I think that Wolverine Supplies is a great company but I think that this will be a mistake. I was initially enthusiastic, but this has deviated greatly from the original intent.

Still, good luck to all those who'd like one, hope this turns out well for you guys.

I was hoping that The Canadian GunNutz Lower would actually be manufactured IN Canada.

What kind of price are they?
P.S. I like the english by the selector hole.
It look's more like a real gun.

Looks great but personally I don't like the white, if it were just laser engraved without the white I would go for it. If you don't intend to change it, we should have it at least as an option.

This is exactly why I don't expect this to fly. They are not going to make 100 different lowers to suit every one's taste.

Well I guess they might, but the price would be adjusted accordingly.;)

It's not going to be made in Canada. So your point is?

Hey, I have no problems with Wolverine Supplies, they're one of the best companies in Canada, I'd just rather not have their logo on my lower.

The only way to avoid this, is to get all the orders prepaid. And I'm all for that. Not because I don't want Wolverine's logo on the lower (It really doesn't matter to me, hey it's just a lower) but it would make things easier for John and us.

Why does it matter if their logo is on it? I think that would actually add a dimension of "uniqueness" to the firearm. Just think of the most highly prized collector firearms, many of them have unique or small batch parts or stamps on them. When dealing with "mass produced" parts, having something stamped or engraved on the order of a few hundred to a thousand or so pieces would make them something to be a part of someones collection about 30 years from now. :D
Im up for anything that makes something legitimately unique or small batch. it adds to the desirability of a firearm, and sets it aside from the common mass produced rabble.

I know the design is already finalized :( but number 2 is the winner for me. The last one is really nice too. I like these designs better.

Also does anyone know anything about the manufacturer. I've seen some adds in magazines for them but that's about it. Anyone actually seen an AR or lower from these guys?

Thanks

not that it matters but I wanted to play around in photoshop/illustrator just for the heck of it and came up with a few concepts that were a little more "subtle" figured id show em just for the hell of it but im not sure the 3d stuff can be done?

I still like the idea of making it as much like a C-7 as possible. Maple leaf the same size/place, serial number the same size / place, but prefix CGN, and

Canadian
Gunnutz
Canadiene

again, to look as much like a C-7 as possible.

My $0.02

I'd like that as well, however I understand there were issues with the last CGN order and Diemenco complaining.

Although "Colt Canada" can kiss my A@@. I think it's pretty hard for them to "trademark" the Canadian maple leaf. I'm pretty sure it was a recognizable symbol long before they were around

I am wondering as well, my next gun purchase will be an AR of some kind, and a signature gun would be cool.

Right now John is waiting on Sabre, the project still has "legs" and once he gets the finalized price, lettering we will be moving forward. I email John from time to time to keep me in the loop.
