IT'S THE GTA BassPro

The reloading supplies and equipment arrived last late week.
A good selection of Hornady and Nosler bullets. Everything from .204 to .35.
Prices not bad eg. 250 bullet Box of Nosler 50gr ballistic tip .224 $52. varmint pack
Some powders, Alliant, Hodgdon, IMR, around $28 a lb. Selection a little thin but I was told more on the way.
Primers Remington and Winchester small and large rifle. I got a 1000 Remington bench rest small rifle for $47. Same price as regular small rifle. How long is that going to last ?
Lots of dies and equipment, RCBS, Lyman, Lee, Hornady. Prices not bad.
Again, I was told that more stuff on the way.
There was no brass. It's on the way.

Nothing for pistol !

Bottom line, no great bargains but a least the stuff is available and there appears to be lots of it. Again, we will see how long this lasts. ;)

This is not an endorsement of BassPro. It's just a review.

Bass Pro... For a fishing reel, or a boat, maybe...

Anything else, I'll stick to our sponsors or my local shop. Would you believe he actually makes a point to stock the components on a regular basis? ;)

Vaughan's Bass Pro had Reloading Supplies Way back when they first opened, and then slowly trickled out of reloading components. That was at probably a couple years ago that they had basically Nada components. They displayed all sorts of powder bottles for a year and never had any stock...

They never did have anything for pistol calibres.... :(

I was in Calgary a few days ago at their Bass Pro, specificaly looking for reloading supplies, and I scraped up a few hundred dollars to get well stocked up. The store is VAST and yet they had only a 4'x4' section for bullets, most of which was empty. I was totally unimpressed, I bought nothing.

They will never have anything related to pistols, it was part of the deal with the City, that had to be met, otherwise they would have not been allowed to open up the store at all....

The most you might find, is a Pistol case, but no Firearms, or Ammo, and I would be surprised if you find any reloading stuff, powder, dies, etc.....

So I have been told.....

While not a long term solution, this is great for me because I have $115 in gift cards I need to unload there. Just have to cross my fingers on stock when I'm there I guess.

Otherwise I got a local guy who can't be beat. I only paid $29 for 1000 federal large rifle primers the other week.

Is this the cities way of controling crime.
Controling the guns, Not the criminals!
Sounds like a nice place to live "not"

And this is why I say F ck Em!!!!!!

Controlling what. Heres a funny one for ya. I go to Lebaron in Mississauga, and buy a C02 pellet gun. I drive 3 minutes back into Toronto and say what the hell I'll just stop at Canadian Tire and get some C02. Turns out that in Toronto they are not allowed to sell C02 or pellt guns. WTF. I drove 4 minutes back the other direction and picked up the C02 from the Canadian Tire in Mississauga literally 4 minutes away. What the F CK good does a ban like this accomplish when we can drive a few minutes the other way and get it anyways. Similar to Canada and the US no?

^^^^^^^^^

No fault of BassPro really, they had to abide by the City and what the City wanted, it was along the lines of the community as well, they were against it, as was the councilor in the area, so BassPro really had a lot of groups against them selling handguns and items for handguns

BassPro was not for it, but wanted to have a store in that location.....

One of those, between a rock and a hard place....
