Late to thread but I'm jumping in because reasons.
Glocks, if you *must* enjoy them, probably have some sort of redeeming features.
However, Ellwood Epps has never given me any sort of good service. I'm in BC but I"ve emailed them about some guns (a Marlin) that I wanted to buy. The email I got back could be described as terse, dismissive, and distracted.
I also wrote to Wolverine Supplies and I received personal attention from their stock manager who described the status of their inventory, what they were expecting to bring in, that he could order me anything I wanted, that he would personally look through each Marlin and find the best one, that he appreciated my business and (since I would have to wait for my gun to come in) would send it without shipping if I was willing to wait. I was very impressed and intend to give Wolverine more business.
It's hard to find that kind of customer service from a gun store. I'm telling you this in case you feel like I do and way to reward one store over another for good service.
