So I'll start off by saying I wasn't much of a 22lr fan to start of with. The round didn't really meet any of my needs or serve for anything other then cheap plinking. I went strait to the 17hmr for my pest control needs and never really looked back. Im still working on my first bulk box of 22lr from 5yrs ago
But lately Ive been toying around with a couple 22lrs that I picked up in trade. Got them so that Id have something easy for the kids to learn with. Rossi youth combo set 22lr/410 single shot and a marlin 795.
Been mostly shooting the rossi with the kids due to it being easier to manage them and the fit is better for them as well. Its wearing an NCstar 4x cheap acog looking thing, but does the trick. Ive only shot maybe 30rnds max through it but I must say I'm surprised at how much its been and how accurate it seems to be so far.
So to cut this short and to keep from ranting on,
Those little 22's can be fun so dont underestimate them
Cheers
