Finds in the bush thread

Yup. What’s this black irrigation line doing in the mountains lol.

My uncle found a small grow op in his back 40. He put up a sign that said in big giant letters “ATTENTION TRESPASSERS...” you could read it from way far back. But then it went on to say “... this property has been in our family for years... we use it for the enjoyment of our family... blah blah blah...” and the whole while, the size of the writing is getting smaller and smaller. Sort of like an eye chart. So you have to get closer and closer to keep reading it. Then finally the dialogue transitions to “...but now that you’re close enough to read this, I’ve got a great close-up photo of you with the camera in this hole —-> • <—- Your face has already been transmitted to my computer. If you clean your #### up and stay off my property, we’ll just keep this between us.” Or something to that effect. They never came back lol. There was never a game camera in it of course. He just drilled a hoe in the sign, and cobbled together some bits and pieces of old toys or whatever to make it look like the was a game cam mounted on the back.

Outside lillooet my buddy and I stumbled across 4 rusted out cars in the middle of the bush. Can't for the life of me figure out how they got there. We are talking many km from anything resembling a road, on some pretty gnarly terrain (almost impossible to cross on foot, quite a few sections where we had to pass our dogs up to each other). Not 4wd vehicles either, passenger sedans. Mind boggling.

I've found a few cars and trucks like that, usually it was a logging road or cut block at some time and were dumped or wrecked there.

One time at band camp, I found some bush where I wasn't expecting any. Being the adventurous kinda fella that I am, I went in for a closer look. Unbelievably I found a large pink clam in the bush. I opened up the clam a little, and there was a small man in a boat, and what appeared to be a bottomless pit. Anyway, the clam smelled like it was dying so I go out of there pretty quick. Just before I left, I noticed a fairly accessible dirt road just behind the bush. It was pretty dark (and a little smelly) but I ventured in. As it turns out that road had fairly common traffic, and was much smoother than I expected. Definitely a little wash-boarding at the start and finish, but overall a not too bad.

I just blew my girl guide cookies all over my computer.

These 2 have been there a while. 8 inch trees are growing on the trail in to them. Mice/squirrels have cleaned out the cushion in the seats.
