^ Nice turtle! My friends and I found a cool hikers cabin on a nice little lake/pond up in Squamish (about 10+ years ago), It had a wood burning stove, bunks with bedding and
even a log book filled with people that had been there (we of course signed it as well).
Last summer one of the guys from the same group and I went up to find it armed with a GPS phone, our only clue as to its location was what we believed was the lake on the phones map. Once we got into the area we were sure the cabin was we were greeted with a wave of disappointment. The whole area had been destroyed and there was now excavation equipment a gate and some sort of construction shed. There was no sign that a lake or cabin had ever been there and the place looked like a war zone.
I was really angry and felt like burning the equipment and shed out of revenge (of course I did nothing of the sort). Anyway we still have the memories (at least the bastards cant bulldoze that).
PS: If this sounds familiar to anyone in the Squamish or surrounding area please chime in!
