Finds in the bush

Here are some Civil War bullets, dug from the battle of Kenneshaw mountain, just north of Atlanta, Georgia.
Most of them are about 58 calibre. The big one on the right bottom is flattened, so is not quite as large as it appears.
I sure wonder what that one on the right hit, to make such a perfect mushroom!

very cool...

Some of you have found very cool stuff as for me not much a few antler sheds of white tail and mule deer an old horse saddle and one frozen U.S. soldier, that last one was a group find. Some old equipment in the bush on the farm I bought. In the winter I sled around on the farms near my place and I am amazed at what was dragged in to the bush.

I have found a lot of dope grows in the past. Countless deer and elk sheds. A few old martin traps. An old cross cut saw. Countless wood ticks. Old barrels of helicopter fuel. Found over a mile of OMNR forestry fire hose on an old fire....In BC. The heads of a couple axes with no handles. Other peoples arrows. Names carved into birch trees in the middle of no where.

Uh...what? That sounds interesting. Details?

I found a old flat bed truck with wooden spoked wheels and a old home all caved into the basement with the remains of a cast iron wood stove. I took a little ornate door and frame off the stove as a camp decoration. Last year I found a .32 Special brass that was split and looked like it was fired in a .35 Remington.

i read this whole thread and thought i'd share one story that i will never forget. Of course i've found an airplane, old broken up boat, old trapper's cabin, cars, sheds etc but this one i won't ever forget.

When i was younger, my 3 friends and i were having lunch on a log that goes across a trail in mid day when one of us looked up the trail. 50 yards away there was an old man dressed in a pure white gown, with long white hair and beard and a white hat. He was completely white. He looked like gandalf.. No joke! He had a white dog along with him. They didn't make a lick of noise as they seemingly floated down the trail towards us. We ran like hell and didn't talk about it for several years. Me and one friend talked about it this past august and he indeed confirmed that it did happen. We both wonder what would have happened if we had stayed around for a chat. I wish we did.

If you look in the ground near gut piles, you will frequently find a knife, sticking up like a young mans #### from the forest soil, waiting for you to take home.

So far I've found two this way, both cheap crap. :bangHead:

I think I've posted that before in this thread, seeing as it's from 2009 :)
