Finds in the bush

This was a neat find and there was 2 of them side by side. A year apart. Squirrels spruce cone storage bins.

So what kind of cars are they??? I don't recognize the emblem.

Full can of Kokanee beer last season..........

kamlooky: We must be following the same guy around here. HAHA

Was out looking for Whitetails today.

I found an Icy Cold and unopened can of Kokanee as well as a rusty set of nail clippers.

Ya, I was ecstatic to find the clippers.....what a find......and the beer went down OK as well.

Found a bunch heavily corroded detonators near the top of a mountain in the German alps. Fuses were really wet and could not get them lit.

Well that was a good hour burnt that I could have used for sleeping... but sleeping wouldn't have been anything like as interesting. :D

My father bought 180+ acres of prime bushland that was a farm some 90 years ago, way up in the deep North Ontario. Forest has grown in strong, but the foundation of the tiny house is still there near the road, and the garbage pile is a fair ways behind it; the people who lived there just chucked their tins and old glass down the little ravine. Some pretty neat old things in there, but the place is a damn tetanus trap.

Out fishing on Little Abitibi about 20 years ago, we roll in to set up our tent on the little point on the west end of the lake and found an entire moose skeleton, barely shifted by scavengers. I recall finding one a few years before that in the water just off the beach of Pierre lake, some 50 klicks away from Little Ab.

Found a stone arrowhead once, bastard brother chucked it into the lake. A few cabins, all recently used.

Most interesting was finding a guy in a lawn chair on the overgrown logging road, gun lying beside him, head tilted back and not moving. Not exactly a sight to encourage closer inspection, but the old feller was snoring pretty damn loudly. Lazy moose ambush. :D

i got a kodak easyshare 14mp digital camera the other week. LOL! (left on a pipe line...)

+ lots of other s**t on my youtube page...

This is not a find, like the other postings refer to. The camera was more like a steal.
Proper thing would have been to left a note, saying you took the camera, then leave your phone number for them to contact you.
They likely remebered exactly where they left the camera, and would go back for it.
Reverse the procedure. You left an expesive camera on the pipeline. Didin't notice it missing until the next day. Back to the pipeline, no camera, no note.
Then what would be posted in gunnutz?

The Plane that crashed in Riding Mountain National Park is a Avro Anson not a Lanc, one of the survivors was at the Park's 75 anniversary. If you stop by the visitor centre they have info about it.

Found a weed plant. I could smell it from about 10 feet away.

What the growers didn't harvest the deer had eaten...

No wonder they spook so easily!

1960's Mustang.
Cool hunting cabin....more like a man cave actually.
Lots of tires and other garbage.
Old rusty farm machinery.
Tire swing.
