Finnish bedding seems to have been pretty good originally, but I have slathered a little Acraglas into a couple of mine to tighten them up just the way they were when built: wood DOES shrink over 60 or 100 years.
Make sure that the barrel is free in the channel, no pressure pushing it to one side or the other.
Some of the Finn trigger jobs were also very nice, although most MN triggers seem just awful. You can do a lot with a stone and some oil. Just analyse the situation carefully and take your time.
By the way, the MN cartridge is just about a duplicate, ballistically, of a .30-'06. It WILL flatten a deer or a moose. Bullet selection and shot placement are the keys.
Most important of all: have fun! That's what we're all here for, anyway!
