Firearms Outlet Canada

I don't think the mods will like you discussing anything negative about site sponsors.
If you do I expect your thread will be locked.

So you can't say anything "negative" about a business just cause they're a site sponsor? Thought this was an open forum to share good/bad experiences? I thought so long as it's done appropriately.

It's their sub forum, so they're in control. As you can see FOC has chosen to allow this dialogue to continue which is a credit to them.

I have bought ammo, targets holsters and other stuff, always good service and no attitude and unlike another forum favourite retailer, I can understand what they are saying.

Hey Folks

Thank you for your comments either negative or positive. We here at FOC try and make every visit to our store/online a positive one. Whether you are in to fondle a new pistol/ purchase something/ just driving by we are more than happy to have you come through the door. For those of you who have had positive experiences and shared I thank you, we appreciate your business and thrive to continue to serve the Canadian firearms community by offering competitive pricing/ good selection/ good sales people. For those who have the negative ones, I do apologize as we did not exceed the expectations that we set as a company on those occasions. We are only humans behind the gun counter and we do make mistakes. I hope that you can give us another chance to do right by you and make things right. If you have any concerns directly please email me directly at morgan@firearmsoutletcanada.com

Happy new year!

^^^ very professional response. I've bought 1 firearm from your store as well as a handful of miscellaneous accessory purchases. Every experience has been positive. Keep up the good work.

I've had mixed dealing with them myself. I had an aftermarket part not fit that I bought through them and they told me to contact the manufacturer and deal with them, who are in the states. I ended up getting it resolved myself but it was a some leg work on my end. The manufacturer was great to deal with though, if not I would have been more pissed. My others have been multiple online orders. Straight forward, quick shipping, no problem. I'd still buy from them. Good sale prices.

I've ordered guns, ammo and all kinds of accessories from FOC. I have never had an issue with anything. I've shopped in person, had stuff delivered to the range, had stuff delivered to my house. They are one of my "go to" places for Dillon stuff. What I notice in a lot of threads like this is the person who tarts the thread usually reveals themselves as entitled. Things like "I stood in line and waited for nothing" says to me that the person feels entitled to something for waiting like everyone else. The whole thing with "while quantities last" and all that BS, cry me a river. If you want it bad enough don't wait until the end of the day. Make time to go get what you want, order it online, whatever but if they run out, sucks for you. I've missed out on lots of deals due to waiting or too busy to go, sucks for me, that's life. Stop nitpicking and do something to correct it next time.

I’m pretty sure the OP was more disappointed in the way the staff treated him in the store rather than just missing out on the deal. Cant speak for him, but just read that post and it was clear to me he understood boxing day deals dont last but was surpised at the poor customer service.

I few years ago I tried to do an order on line and it would not let me .so I called in to place my order and the guy on the other end told me to do it online.i told think my problem and he didn't say much and left me hanging.its was the first time I tried to do an order and the only one I will ever do.there lots of companies out there that are great to deal with.thats my experience.

great experience for me....ordered a firearm online during a pre-order, had to wait for it to arrive.....but came on expected date in good shape ....hastle free as far as im concerned...thumbs up to them for doin well....people are too sensitive .....

Yep you got it right. Just poor service. No entitlement here, just wish I was treated better. Especially if I'm going to be dropping some serious coin in their establishment.

Coreyd. Nitpicking vs pointing out a flaw in their customer service are two very different things. I would have gladly worked with them to get an alternative, but that option was quickly thrown out when they brushed me off. I won't drop a dime on a place that doesn't respect me enough to give me the time of day and move on to the next guy. I'm betting you'd probably do the same if you were in that situation. Also if they ran out of stock they could have easily ordered me one as my range did, and they had no problem doing that. So there's really no excuse for them to not be able to serve me that day in person. So if this thread is worth anything it'll be to point out What's really going on with the FOC customer experience directly to FOC from multiple customers. That kind of information is worth its weight in gold to any business especially the owners whom I'm sure give a damn about how their business is doing. That's where the situation will get corrected. So thanks for your input.

My recent dealing with them, communication was better. Placed a order. Got a call parts was out of stock. I emailed to cancel it, and magically the part was found. I would call it a SO SO dealing. Still haven't got my answer back on my original Grand Power question when I asked again.

I wouldn't run outside yelling best store ever. If they have it in stock it be any other place.

Firearms dealers in Canada are generally ####### and customer service is virtually non-existent.

Gun owners and range operators on the other hand are the polar opposite.

The reason for it is simple. High demand and low supply on items of pure commodity status gives them that power.

Very positive and patient with us noobs. I’ve been there twice, both times they were great with helping me find what I needed.
They also Let me drool over almost every pistol.
If the 401 wasn’t such a parking lot, I’d be there a lot more often 😝
